Shaper, glasser, shop grom for GUNN Surfboards. Actually I am the entire company. Well, aside from Pooka, my 4 legged partner in crime. She excels in looking cute but I can barely get her to sweep up the bay.

I do everything myself by hand. No machine shapes. No outsourced glassing. All by my own hands. Doing everything myself keeps my eye on quality and affords me the luxury of intense personalization with you, my loyal customers. I am based in Ocean, NJ right next to the amazing little city of Asbury Park, the cultural epicenter of the east coast. Most of my orders are local and the northeast, but I do ship globally.

My greatest joy is hearing about the happiness my boards are bringing their riders. This is a thrill that is unmatched and it is what drives me. I believe that the best way to get a great board is to develop a strong relationship with you. All of my boards are built entirely around a collaborative vision that we both create. Often a surfer will have a clear vision in their head, but usually a partnership is created between you and I to bring to life the perfect board for you.
